Digital Outdoor content specialist
Reporting of the Role
This role reports to Digital Service Manager
Overview of job
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for overseeing adequate levels of advertising is always displayed across all Global Outdoor digital formats. Key to this role is managing Global voidage & filler campaigns, as well as filler requirements from Global Franchise partners e.g., TfL, Network rail, Southwest rail, etc.
The Global Outdoor estate stretches across a breadth of different partners, screen specifications and locations, therefore this is a key role to ensure that content is always on screens, and that the distribution of filler & voidage campaigns is managed successfully to minimise the appearance of repetitive adverts.
The digital content manager is a key role of the Outdoor Digital Delivery team, they will work closely with the sales team, marketing, Partnership Directors and other key stakeholders across the business to obtain advertising content and ensure it is successfully delivered across the appropriate parts of the estate.

Measures of success -
In the first few months, you would have
- A full understanding of our campaign scheduling, monitoring systems and the specifications of the screens.
- Good knowledge of filler & voidage campaigns and the technical opportunities for delivery.
- Built relationships with all relevant stakeholders and Partnerships to manage voidage campaigns and their individual filler requirements.
Responsibilities of the role
- Scheduling and monitoring of campaigns across the digital outdoor estate.
- Managing filler and voidage campaigns to ensure they are distributed correctly and get the correct level of display.
- Identify voidage/filler opportunities and work with sales and partnerships to gain content where required.
- Monitor for new sites that are built and ensure content is available to go live as soon as the screen is switched on.
- Being an expert on filler options across the estate. Producing accurate and detailed analysis to advise the business on how filler/voidage campaigns perform and opportunities to improve.
- Working with the relevant tech platform teams on system development requirements.
- Constant review and monitoring of content on the screens, ensuring adequate cover and identify new ways to improve and optimise.
- When required present filler information to Franchise Partners and be involved in decisions for agreeing changes.
- Weekly and monthly reporting of advertising levels across the estate.
