Are you frustrated with the pace and ambition of your current organisation? If so, we are partnering with Speakers for Schools to find their next Director of Fundraising. Speakers for Schools are an entrepreneurial organisation with big plans to end educational inequality, provide inspiration and work opportunities to young people across the UK. They have an amazing network of entrepreneurs, political figures and creatives already engaged with them, they now need a Director of Fundraising to join them to build out the fundraising strategy, explore new funding areas, lead the team and grow income. The role will focus on building out the high-value fundraising programme across corporates, trusts, statutory funders and major donors. Alongside this, you will also explore mass-fundraising options. Speakers for Schools need someone ambitious, with high-energy who is comfortable leading strategy but also doing hands-on fundraising with high-value donors. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate: - Experience in developing fundraising strategy and leading a team to deliver a growth income- Strong experience in managing high-value supporters, ideally across trusts, major donors and corporate funders- Excellent internal stakeholder management skills, you will build the profile of fundraising across the organisation- An inspiring leadership style and passion for ending inequality Closing date: 10th December (although the charity is interviewing on a rolling basis so please apply asap so as not to miss out)Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 If you would like to have an informal discussion, please call Ashby on or apply online.
