JOB - Door Field Service Technician

LOCATION - North East London

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus overtime)

My client is a reputable, independent company which designs, manufactures, services and installs physical security products. They are looking for a Door Field Service Technician to join their team working around the North East M25 on a permanent basis, and are offering a competitive package.

The Door Field Service Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

Be electrically qualified, ideally with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, but other City & Guilds qualifications, NVQs or Degrees are acceptable
Knowledge of the service and repair of automated doors
Skilled in mechanical engineering
Experience working with heavy-duty machinery would be beneficial
Fault-finding and problem-solving expertise and the ability to understand wiring diagrams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsThe Door Field Service Technician role will involve:

Servicing specialist doors at customer sites
Both mechanical and electrical work
Working to risk assessments and safety regulations
