Alecto Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician based in or around the London area to join our clients expanding team. This position has become available due to company growth and need someone who is qualified to 18th Edition who can come in and hit the ground running. This is a permanent, full time position.

Our client are an award-winning Electrical Contractors who have been going for just under 15 years now. The specialise within the Domestic and Commercial sectors, and have recently seen a massive growth in their business for EV charge points around London. They are currently looking for a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their team in carrying out residential, commercial and block management reactive and planned maintenance and installation work in and around London.

The ideal candidate will have current Electrical Qualifications (18th Edition, City & Guilds Level 3, AM2 Pass certificate), clean DBS check and be looking for a new and exciting role in a fast-growing company. They are also very interested in Electricians who have Air Conditioning and Electric Vehicle Charging qualifications.

The ability to work confidently alone and as part of a team will be essential. You must be able to problem solve and work calmly under pressure in order to identify and rectify electrical faults, carry out install work and conduct EICR's and remedial works.

The role includes:

Carrying out NICEIC electrical installation condition reports (EICR)
Carry out PAT testing on behalf of Landlords
Ability to clearly identify domestic, commercial electrical faults and be able to rectify
Work closely with the office to make sure work and invoicing is carried out efficiently
Professionally and pleasantly meeting with clients/ tenants on a day-to-day basis
Send necessary reports and certification back to the office following completion of works via their field service app
Take payments from clients using card machine
Uphold the companies image and reputation

Key requirements needed:

Ability to work independently to problem solve and rectify electrical faults
Time served experience and a good understanding of electrical domestic, commercial installations
Fully qualified City & Guilds electrician with testing experience essential
Full clean UK driving licence
Basic IT skills to send reports & certification back to the office
Own hand tools

The position is offered on a permanent CIS basis with a company van (Parking and fuel paid for), Ipad, Iphone and credit card machine, all power tools, test equipment (excluding normal hand tools) forming part of the package on offer.
