Embedded DevOps Engineer

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this leading global provider of cloud-based solutions to the global financial sector, we have been asked to assist in the hire of several Embedded DevOps Engineers (from intermediate to senior level).
Already benefiting from a dominance in the North American finance industry, our client is expanding it is London operations to better serve the UK and EU markets. This is an exciting time to join, and you will have the option to work from predominantly from home or within their state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in London.

Core Requirements
*3+ years' experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer or similar role
*Linux (CentOS preferred)
*Big Data Technology such as Cassandra, Arango DB, Hadoop, Kafka, MongoDB, minIO
*Build & Deployment Automation such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Helm
*Containerization/Virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, VMware)
*Instrumentation & Monitoring (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
*Languages/Scripts: Bash, Java, Groovy, Go, Python

Nice-to-Have Skills
*Cassandra, Zookeeper, Hadoop, Kafka, Ms SQL, or MongoDB
*Understanding of software delivery practices such as feature toggling, no-downtime deployment
*Any public or private cloud stack such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack
In this role you will deploy, update and monitor distributed systems. You will support multiple on-premises environments. You will scale and manage infrastructure with high throughput, availability, and storage requirements. You will automate all the things.
