Job Role : Engineer Support Technician (London)

Salary: £26,714.29 to £29,920.00

Hours: Monday - Friday 1 in 4 working weekend rota - paid 'Door to Door

About The Role

We are looking for candidates seeking an opportunity to become fully skilled Bakery, Catering/Coffee Engineers. All the candidate needs are an interest in engineering, a willingness to learn, ability to communicate, comfortable working as an individual or within a team and the enthusiasm to get the job done.

The successful candidates will be provided with a comprehensive training plan and will be supported by a Regional Operations Manager, Senior Engineers and a National Response Centre based in Bury, Manchester. Once you have completed your induction training at our bespoke City & Guilds accredited Training Academy in Bury, Lancashire (accommodation etc. fully provided), you will then work within your local region carrying out repairs to equipment within your capability range and support skilled engineers in complex repairs.

On completion of training modules, you will be rewarded via a Pay Grading System which means you earn as you learn! The training modules generally take 12 months on average to complete, training is carried out in the workplace, at our purpose-built Training Centre and with third party approved training providers.

This role will involve:

* Based from home attending customer sites within your region.

* Carry out repair and maintenance activities within capability range.

* Assisting skilled engineers in carrying out tasks.

* Attending regular organised training at our Training Centre in Bury

* Attending one to one onsite training with Chief/Senior Engineers

* Communicating on a regular basis with the FM Control Centre providing updates on work tasks.

* Has a strong interest in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering

On successfully completing all the set training modules you will be promoted to fully skilled reactive engineer on a basic salary of £34K pa and opportunity to work through performance grades with basic earnings up to £40K pa
