We have an exciting opportunity available for a Facilities Management Operations Analyst to join our team. You will join us on full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary from £43,000 with benefits, subject to skills and experience.

The Francis Crick Institute (the Crick) is a research institute dedicated to discovering the fundamental biology underlying human health, with the aim of improving the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of human disease.
The Crick was formed on 1 April 2015 and is a registered charity. It is a partnership between the Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Welcome Trust, University College London (UCL), Imperial College London and King's College London.
The Crick is located in a purpose-built research centre in central London (next to St Pancras International), housing some 1,250 researchers and 250 support staff.
The Facilities Management Operations Analyst will be a System administrator of the F&I Building services CAFM system and will identify and initiate needs to implement processes and any subsequent system improvements and upgrades. They will utilise the CAFM system to interrogate operational performance of all service partners across F&I whether the service is an internal or external provision. They will also provide KPI reporting and analysis dashboards to demonstrate conformance to the service leads.
This role will be key in driving the Crick Sustainability Strategy and the goal of attaining net zero carbon emissions, as well as supporting other operational initiatives that require robust data analysis, reporting, and interpretation. The position will sit as part of an existing multi-disciplined in-house engineering team and will demand an innovative, results driven approach to energy reduction, optimisation and building efficiency, whilst ensuring the Crick core science activities and regulatory environmental requirements are fully maintained.
Responsibilities of our Facilities Management Operations Analyst:
* Provide Management information to F&I Department Heads and Service Leads, extract and manipulate information from F&I systems, build reports as per bespoke requirements using available IT tools
* Be the operational owner and system administrator for the Crick's CAFM system (Planon) and act as the focal point for operational interfaces with the CAFM and other systems for all levels of the business for both the Crick and its service partners.
* Contribute to strategies, action plans and procedures to reduce energy consumption, develop solutions for carbon management schemes, and improve operational/maintenance performance
* Manage and develop industrial analytical tools to accurately monitor energy baselines, such as SkyFoundry SkySpark or Schneider EcoStruxure Building Advisor
* Develop building energy models and recommend changes to existing operational and maintenance processes and procedures to demonstrate continuous improvement
* Present reports for energy monitoring, operational KPI's, and other operational/maintenance data. Create dashboards to enable clear communication and monitoring of performance trends
* Increase the awareness of energy use within the building, and support the necessary communication channels to encourage the use of renewable and sustainable practices within the Institute and raise the profile of energy conservation
* Provide technical and practical advice, and offer training on energy reduction and operational efficiency initiatives
* Work with the Crick Head of Sustainability to develop promotional activities and materials to publicise particular schemes relating to sustainability and carbon reduction
* Work with the Facilities teams to carry out site inspections, energy surveys, and to identify opportunities for operational improvements
* Keep up to date with current legislation and maintain an up to date awareness of developing technologies that will support energy and operational improvements
Skills and experience we are looking for in our Facilities Management Operations Analyst:
* Minimum 3 'A' levels or ONC in relevant facilities subject / discipline or equivalent BIFM qualification
* Experience of developing and presenting reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
* Significant experience of working in Hard and Soft Facilities operational environments
* Has operational experience in managing / reporting on maintenance performance, KPI's, SHS, Energy
* Experience of interrogating and reporting with CAFM systems and other Facilities related software packages
* Excellent IT skills including all MS office tools and use of Power Bi
