Job description

There is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a Private Equity backed tech start up based in London for 6 months with the potential to become a permanent role.

After growing 10x within the last two years, they are looking to add an Interim Financial Accountant in to work along side the Head of Finance. You will need strong statutory reporting experience along with having dealt with external auditors.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and positive team player. You will be working directly with the Head of Accounting to establish and uphold appropriate procedures and controls. This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen your career.

What You'll Do:

• Supporting business planning, forecasts and budgets.
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management.
• Support month end/year closing.
• Review account transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management.
• Assist with year-end audit queries.
• Ensuring compliance and implementation of new and existing accounting policies.

What You'll Need:

• Fully qualified or part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA desirable.
• IFRS reporting experience.
• Essential computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and accounting packages.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Prepare annual financial statements for statutory audit with all supporting notes and schedules.
