Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are in the early stages of bringing to life a globally aligned learning approach for deep-tech upskilling. Our firm-wide aspiration of OneBCG that brings the best of BCG to our clients is at the heart of this upskilling effort. We want to broaden digital capabilities across BCG and deepen digital skills for specialty consulting team members.
You will be part of a team that is redefining the way BCG upskills its digital talent. You are passionate about our OneBCG aspirations and bring creativity and insight into how we bring this aspiration to life.

You Will:

  • Map out chapter (digital skills) journey requirements (design, curation, activation, communication and maintenance) by partnering with the Digital & Tech skills curriculum Product Owner and SB L&D leads
  • Build and maintain various chapter learning journeys e.g., Design, Architecture, Engineering in collaboration with the L&D EdCast team
  • Drive the content relationship with vendors (such as O'Reilly and IDF) and alliances (such as MS, AWS, Amazon) to curate the best fit content (internal & external) and certifications for chapter journeys
  • Collaborate with the L&D Operations team to build content (live / on-demand) that fills a gap in the offer (e.g., how BCG does Design) or improves learner experience (e.g., self-assessment to personalize curriculum)
  • Drive impact measurement of chapter journeys maximising dashboards or other tools
  • Build mechanisms to embed, sustain and maintain digital & tech skills learning offers that are part of chapter journeys
  • Collaborate with the L&D Operations team (Platforms, EdCast) to build a roadmap / backlog for journey upgrades and improvements
  • Thought partner with other learning journey owners (such as 1YLJ, CSLJ) to streamline the learner experience across journeys

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Buidling- You thrive by collaborating with teams and leaders across the organization, use what exists already, curate, upgrade and align to build ownership.
  • Sorting things out and solving sophisticated problems through your broad knowledge and experience, think creatively and drive impact. You excel in coordinating and managing work products.
  • Connecting with people. Building credible networks, using your relationships to influence all levels of business partners without formal authority.
  • Learning new stuff! You are a self-starter who can learn, understand and apply new technologies. You seek inventive solutions to sophisticated challenges and are always eager to grow your skills.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Strong experience working with diverse stakeholders to establish and structure needs
  • A background in consulting or learning & development is crucial
  • A minimum of 6-8 years' work experience in a consulting role or 8-10 years in a functional role; strong affinity to a digitally focused organization (agile, big data, ventures) would be desirable
  • Experience of working on digital technologies is not required, though exposure would be beneficial
  • Experience of developing and leading work products and an ability to learn and apply agile and human-centred design principles

YOU'LL WORK WITH
  • Digital Learning Product Owner, L&D leads from specialty businesses and L&D Operations team
  • Subject matter experts from across the globe and timezones
  • Significant part of the engagements expected to be virtual
