WHAT YOU'LL DO
Boston Consulting Group is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. This is a role in the Global Services team. BCG's Global Services provides corporate support to the business in functions such as Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing and IT. This team of experts represent all levels operating across the globe.

This program is tailored to meet BCG's growing business demands. As a Global Services Apprentice you will be supported with access to business leaders, supplementary training, and mentoring, alongside your formal qualification.

The successful candidate will undertake productive work in the Business Services function whilst studying towards their Business Administration qualification.

You will be hired into the Global Services London team.

The Business Services team is here to manage the physical office space and the needs of our community of 250+ team members. You will be a key member of the team and during your apprenticeship will gain exposure and experience in all of the key functions within the team, for example:

  • Work alongside logistics, affiliation, and admin teams to maintain a high quality, safe and secure office environment.
  • Ensure that all staff and visitors on site have an exceptional experience.
  • Support day to day running of the office, including reception tasks such as greeting guests, handling couriers, managing catering needs and problem-solving ad-hoc queries.
  • Help forward plan, coordinate, and execute large scale events, for example identifying external speakers, structuring reconnection opportunities or working alongside our Social Impact team.
  • Support 2-3 directors with diary management, day to day queries, travel and expenses, gaining exposure to other teams.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • You'll be welcoming and approachable; confident to greet senior internal and external visitors as well as suppliers.
  • You'll be highly organized, responsive and a team player - comfortable thinking on your feet.
  • Handling challenging situations with poise, understanding and tact.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Excellent time management; must work well with deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail as well as able to see the bigger picture
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Office skills with at least intermediate PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • Experience handling data

YOU'LL WORK WITH
Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
