What can you expect? You will be responsible for coordinating the Hybrid Property Strategy and delivering packaged facultative solutions to our core client base globally. Whilst your core focus will initially be on the London market, you will be expected to liaise with the wider MMC network to ensure opportunities are not missed .You will be supported in your endeavours by a dedicated Hybrid Property team member and have access to the full Hybrid Broker Support team and wider GC analytics. As revenue grows you will be expected to lead the expansion of this team.The nature of the role has some flexibility. A proven track record in leading the placement of solutions which protect clients' property balance sheets (whether treaty or Fac) is a pre requisite. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to create solutions to complex client issues utilising a variety of markets and structures. Proven experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry is desirable but an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving is paramount.You will be actively engaged with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver excellent and efficient service to our clients who are based globally.This role presents a superb opportunity to lead the hybrid operation in the critical property product line. This is a senior role with a senior package to match and sits front and centre of the Global Fac plans for 2022 and beyond. What you will be rewarded with?Good work life balance with a competitive salary.Comprehensive benefits programs including: excellent pension contributions, private health insurance, tuition assistance, pension, employee assistance program, career mobility, employee network groups, volunteer opportunities, and other programs.27 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year.We will rely on you to:Manages overall interaction with client in medium to large client transactions.Utilizes knowledge of client industry to analyse risk reports and develop innovative approaches to difficult client needs and articulate the value to clients.Contributes to the firm's body of knowledge through active internal communication to enable colleagues to better serve clients.Works to solidify strong relationships with insurers/reinsurers, clients, colleagues and Marsh and utilizes specialists in other areas of the firm to deliver highly complex, best-in-class solutions to clients.Demonstrates a near complete understanding of coverage lines, markets and other more specialized products and keeps abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions to better serve clients.Produces new clients, designs programs for them and establishes relationships through meetings and exhibiting professional skills in order to generate revenue.May participate in the revenue/budget process with the management team.Oversees responses to client queries and concerns, ensuring issues are resolved completely and promptly.May review and clarify contract documents and bond forms, as well as banking terms and conditions.May review and guide the Client on the terms and conditions of General Agreement of Indemnity required to be executed by Clients to support all surety transactions.May review financial statements for all industries with specific knowledge of each industries unique financial metrics.What you need to have: A market leading understanding of Property Insurance / and Reinsurance (both treaty and Fac is ideal though outstanding candidates with only property treaty or Fac experience will also be considered).Ability to lead and implement the core strategy for Hybrid Property delivering on opportunities from MMC (Marsh, Bowring Marsh, GC Treaty).Well connected with core D and F / Treaty underwriters who write / plan to write packaged Fac in both the domestic and international markets.Understanding of MGA structures.Ability to network to C suitelevel both internally at MMC and externally with core client base.Target driven mentality.What makes you stand out: Proven track record and experience in creating and delivering facultative / packaged property Fac solutions which dovetail core client property treaty programs in the London market.Proven track record of capitalising market leading MGA's.Ability to review provided case studies and present a realistic and coherent placement strategy.
