In this role you will provide support to the HR Business Partner team and their respective client groups to deliver and implement HR programs, policies, and practices by way of project management, data gathering, analysis and reporting.
You will also deliver day-to-day administration and Associate support to the HR Business Partners, Leaders and employees focusing on seamless support across the spectrum of HR delivery, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, onboarding/offboarding, use of the Human Resource Information System etc.
Responsibilities
How you'll spend your time....
Business Engagement
The HR Associate will support the EMEA HR Business Partners to cover approximately 700 people based across 14 locations by;
- Providing guidance and counsel to business line leaders and employees on a range of HR questions that may include, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Onboarding/Offboarding, use of the Human Resource Information System (Workday), Talent Management etc.
- Managing queries to the HR team, escalating to the HR Business Partner or delegating to the HR Services team as appropriate
- Advising the business on policy and process gaining 'trusted adviser' status
- Supporting the Business Partners with the annual performance management process and to deliver the annual salary and incentive review process.
- In collaboration with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, manage the non-standard employment contract updates for the EMEA region.
- Assist HR Business Partners with processes relating to the management of the Company's Non-Executive Directors
Data Management
The HR Associate is responsible for the HR data / reporting needs of the team, using computer applications such as Excel, Human Resource Information Systems (Workday), and general database and reporting management knowledge to;
- Actively manage HR information
- Ensure data and templates are kept up to date
- Support in conduct regular audits and data cleansing
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports, providing analytical overlay
- Support in the production of written reports and presentations, ensuring HR Business Partners have the data necessary for reporting or projects in order to solve business challenges
- Respond to industry surveys
Employee Relations
- Support the HR Business Partners in maintaining ER Case Management records and in ER administration; advising on expiration of warnings and ensuring adherence to privacy requirements
- Provide accurate reporting on ER case load and updates
- Assist in the on-going review of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Provide ER advise and guidance to Line Managers to ensure compliance with HR policies and in order to resolve employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate
- Manage Occupation Health referrals
- Manage the immigration adminstration including annual renewal of certificate of sponsorship allocation and the company's licence renewal
Risk Management and Special Projects
- Act as a point of contact for VRA's regarding Vendors owned by the Lead HR Business Partner.
- Partner with the HR RLO team to support Risk Event rootcause analysis and remediation work, as necessary.
- Support the HR Business Partner team on ad-hoc projects in support of the wider HR agenda, collaborating across teams as required.
- Partner with the HR Business Partner teams in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and practices.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytic capability
- Structured, focussed, methodical approach; adhering to and continually improving processes
- Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities and adapt to changes in the work environment
- Ability to operate under pressure and within matrix/ fast changing environments
- Demonstrable experience of managing HR core services provision and systems
- Able to collaborate and work in a busy team
- Awareness of the importance of risks and controls and data privacy management
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and confidence communicating to a variety of levels across the organization.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particulary Excel and Powerpoint and prior experience working on Workday is essential
