Job description

Information Security Analyst (Information Assurance Consultant) wanted. FTSE100. £60-65k + Benefits. London/Cardiff/Birmingham and WFH

Our client, a Global Investment Management firm, are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to act as an Information Security Assurance Consultant as the first point of call for the Customer Relationship and Sales teams in terms of queries from clients, both prospective and existing. The focus is on pre- and post-sales support, managing of client audit requests, and the development of contract security schedules.

Alongside this, you will be acting as a Security Analyst and assisting with the development of a relatively greenfield security team, with lots of scope to put your stamp on the business.

  • Salary: £60-65k + bonus + 15% pension contribution + Private Medical + share plan

The role:

  • Assisting the Information Security Manager with general Security Analyst tasks
  • Be the first point of call for clients on questions relating to Information Security and IT infrastructure
  • Give Pre- and Post-sales support to the sales and customer relations teams with regard to Compliance, Information Security, and Policy
  • Implementation of processes to handle tech/security FAQs, and to ensure stakeholders have clarity in their individual responsibilities during the process
  • Establish an IT response team to regularly update any materials created, and to efficiently collate responses to queries

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years as a General Security Analyst (looking for inch deep mile wide)
  • Fantastic stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience in an Information Security setting and good knowledge of IT Security concepts
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage varied workload
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships across a business
  • Strong knowledge of IT, Cloud, Information Security and/or Cyber Security concepts.

Good to have:

  • Relevant qualifications in project management
  • Experience in or knowledge of Investment Management, Financial Services or Pensions
  • Development of a knowledge database in a previous role
  • Experience with the process and requirements of Reverse Due Diligence
  • IT Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
