International Programmes Change Programme Lead

Prospectus is enthusiastic to be partnering with a well-known International Development organisation to appoint their new International Programmes Change Programme Lead.

Reporting to the Director of International Programmes, this is an 18-months fixed term contract to lead a substantial programme of change within the organisation's International Programmes teams. These teams are responsible for the development of funding proposals and overseeing grant and contract delivery and compliance through the project lifecycle. The new International Programmes Change Programme Lead will be expected to drive this programme of change (including the new system implementation to ensure that it delivers the intended outcomes), as well as leading the development of system reports to meet operational and management needs. The post holder will supervise a team including a Project Manager who will be dedicated to the system and process element of this programme. You will direct the work of the Project Manager to ensure that project deliverables are being tracked, managed and are delivering the desired outcomes. Working closely to the Director of International Programmes, you will create and maintain an engaging vision and you will manage internal communication about the project and foster positive engagement with the system.

We are looking for a pragmatic leader and critical thinker who is able to inspire change to processes, systems and people. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the capability to work across teams, as well as thorough knowledge and understanding of International Development programmes and donor-funded projects. To be successful, you will have experience of leading change projects and working with technical teams and suppliers on the implementation of new systems. You will have experience of working on projects with a significant financial reporting element and you will understand different project management methodologies. You will be able to work collaboratively with other departments and be a supportive and effective team member.
