Job description
We are expanding our Information, Advice and Guidance services for young people in London with our 'Spark Change' programme, funded by Greater London Authority (GLA) and European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF).
You will be responsible for winning, developing, and retaining employer partnerships to support the contractual requirements of the Spark Change project. This will include sales and business development activities to keep a pipeline of new vacancies and placement opportunities refreshed constantly. Additionally, you will help match participants to vacancies based on skill set and job goals, working collaboratively with the Shaw Trust Account Management team to access available vacancies. You will be engaging, empathetic and motivational to foster an engaged working relationship with participants, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will be organised and effective in achieving day to day Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Essential:
You will have:
A proven record of success in engaging with stakeholders.
The ability to identify individual participant's motivators and goals to source appropriate vacancies.
A strong track record in achieving individual and team performance targets.
An understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues.
Effective negotiation and persuasion skills.
The ability to work remotely using a range of digital channels including phone, video conferencing, instant messaging, and email.

Location:
Hybrid working with a mix of office, home and community working. Our service will cover the London Boroughs of Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Harrow, and Havering.
