This is a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative position and is ideal for someone looking to further develop their Project Controls career through exposure on major projects across the infrastructure sector. You will gain valuable industry experience and develop first class consultancy skills. You will have the opportunity to work with industry leading clients on some of the most exciting projects across the UK, sectors including but not limited to Rail, Utilities, Defence, Nuclear, Aviation, Oil & Gas and Construction.

As a Junior Project Controls Engineer, you will deliver and support across various Project Controls programmes by co-ordinating and producing dashboards across all functions including Planning, Cost, Change and Risk. You will be an ambitious, proactive and eager to learn professional, with the drive to fast-track within the project controls area. This is a London based position with flexibility of hybrid working.

Responsibilities, and not limited to:

* Co-ordinate project controls activities and the change management process, ensuring impacts to the baseline are effectively assessed and managed

* Collaborate and support the Project Controls team through developing, managing, and tracking an integrated project/programme baseline, assisting performance management.

* Perform data analysis from reports and provide insight into outputs and trends on performance related to project risks, provide recommendations or mitigation.

Role Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering or any relevant Engineering, Project Controls, and Project Management discipline

* Experience within the Project Controls environment, ideally in the Rail, Utilities, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Civil Engineering, or construction sectors.

* Experience being involved with or a good understanding in any of the following: Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.

* Ability to extract, analyse and interpret data to produce accurate, timely and informative reports in multiple formats establishing root causes and impacts.

* Experience using or working knowledge of one or more of the core Project Controls disciplines: Cost Control, Change Control, Primavera P6, or experience with working on Risk Schedules.

* Effective communication & written skills, ability to work within a cross functional project team and be able to influence and challenge at all levels.

* A motivated and focused individual with the drive to develop your experience further within the project controls area.

Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + car allowance + private medical
