Life Health Actuary

Permanent role

Salary: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on exam passes)

Location: London

Goodman Masson are recruiting for a life actuary with protection product experience or a health actuary.

This will be a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure into a variety of projects to progress your career further.

Key responsibilities:


- Participate in projects in health-care
- Model cash-flows for insurers and reinsurers
- Advise on managing liabilities and recommend optimal capital management strategies
- Revise businesses' projections and making sure they have adequate reserves.
- Startegise to manage future costs based on demographics for group risk and income protection benefits
- Manage internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:

- Nearly-Qualified or Qualified life actuary (by exams e.g. FIA) with UK experience
- Experience in Group health or protection products
- Experience of actuarial modelling

- You must be eligible to work in the UK - these rules have changed recently so when applying please state your eligibility to work in the UK. (E.g. British passport, Irish passport, ILR, settled-status, etc.)
