Job description

Our client is a leading M&E specialist sub-contractor. They are based in North West London.
They are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor. The role involves working on commercial fitout projects to 10M in M&E Value. Our client has a busy and impressive order book.
The job of the MEP Quantity Surveyor will involve:
Responsibility for controlling costs throughout the project and ensuring that budgets are achieved.
You will be tasked with managing and forecasting the Cash flow of the life of the project.
Valuation and cost control of the building services, sometimes involved in negotiation of contract sum, complete with preparation and negotiation of financial impact on base build works and preliminary costs
Carrying out interim valuations, preparing the variation account; complete financial management of subcontract accounts; valuation of all additional works including additional value for management and drafting costs.
We are ideally looking for a minimum of 5 years' experience working as an MEP QS on construction projects in the UK. MRICS would be advantageous but is not essential and our client will support professional development.
