As a Barclays MOR Regulations and Control Lead you will be providing vitally important oversight of Barclays' Markets risk and control framework. You will join a team of individuals who are building the front-to-back foundation for a sound risk and control environment. You will engage in identification of new regulation impacting the firm and will ensure that we create, update and maintain appropriate related controls ensuring traceability at every step.

What will you be doing?
• Maintaining a pipeline of new regulations affecting our Markets businesses globally
• Engaging in partnership with various teams to provide internal and external support (e.g. to program management teams and to regulator relations teams respectively)
• Maintaining Regulatory Requirements Documentation
• Working with Legal, Compliance and key stakeholders in the Business
• Periodically reviewing Regulatory Requirements Documentation inventories and other PSP documentation for completeness
• Overseeing remediation of gaps and issues identified during FXCO Market Conduct PSP review
• Conducting ongoing communication with stakeholders, including senior personnel at the bank, regarding key changes to Market Conduct regulations

What we're looking for:
• Familiarity with regulatory change: ability to support analysis, design, governance, and control of regulatory change
• Ability to understand and translate processes easily without being a subject matter expert in a product or asset class
• Familiarity with Markets businesses preferred, but not required
• Ability to work well in a team, but also to pursue assignment individually

Skills that will help you in the role:
• College/ University degree
• Financial services or related regulated industry experience
• Ability to navigate a cross-functional and/ or multi-regional environment

Where will you be working?
5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place.
