As Product Manager for Cash and Current Accounts you will manage and develop Metro Bank's main transactional banking products in the retail space - Current Accounts and Cash Accounts, ensuring the product offering fulfils our customers' needs and in turn make Metro Bank the market leader in the Current Account and Cash Account market.
You will have full ownership and be responsible for product P&L, product performance, product risk management, propositional development and external market trends to make the customer propositions as effective as possible. You will also be responsible for ensuring the retail products under your management contribute to the Bank's longer-term strategic goals.

So what would you be doing?...
• Establishing Metro Bank as a leading market participant in the current account market
• Developing and delivering pricing and proposition proposals to ensure the portfolio develops in line with commercial expectations
• Developing a product management function for the Current and Cash Account products, including establishing KPIs and risk monitoring, and regular pricing review
•Maintaining our products and processes to ensure that they are working in the way we expect for our customers and our colleagues

You need to be this kind of person…

We always support colleagues to develop their skills. But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things...
• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
• Naturally you will understand the key drivers to deliver significant, profitable growth across Current and Cash Accounts, in order to establish Metro as a key market participant

• Ideally you will be used to taking responsibility to deliver change, working across teams
•To be successful in this role you will be used to deeply understanding the way products and processes work so that you can identify and resolve errors in the way our products are working

IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE; Diverse teams really are the best teams. We know that candidates (especially women, research tells us) may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box. We also know that 'normal' office hours aren't always doable, and while we can't accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked. So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren't sure if you are 100% there yet… why not give it a whirl? Please note that sometimes we may close a job earlier for applications if we are inundated with amazing candidates.. Good luck!
