Position Description:
We are looking for a results-oriented and highly motivated marketer to join our Product Marketing team. In this role, you will work with stakeholders across PIMCO's global business to develop and execute high-quality, highly effective investment content and marketing programs that support a broad range of products and services. This position will be located in London or Newport Beach, CA and will be part of the Global Marketing function.
As a Product Marketing Senior Associate, you will contribute to the development and production of content that:
- PIMCO's clients and prospects want to read, engage with, and share with their networks
- Positively influences the perception of PIMCO's investment process and firm overall in the minds of clients, in the context of product-specific communications
- Supports, enables, and facilitates the sale of PIMCO's products to clients and prospects, and retention of PIMCO's products among current investors

Position Requirements:
You will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing scalable marketing strategies and tactics that raise consideration for PIMCO's investment solutions globally, as well as providing day-to-day project management for priority product marketing campaigns.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Developing marketing strategies and supporting overall marketing efforts related to PIMCO's alternatives brand and related investment solutions
- Collaborating with global colleagues across channels, including stakeholders in product management, client management, compliance, technology, and all marketing departments (brand, creative, digital, channel, financial writers)
- Designing and executing promotional plans for marketing materials, including sales collateral, webcasts, videos, and thought leadership papers
- Managing the development and production of product marketing materials across a fully integrated communications platform
- Collecting and analyzing metrics and KPIs for marketing-related activities, preparing reports for stakeholders, and making recommendations based on findings
- Coordinating closely with global colleagues to ensure consistency of messaging and identify opportunities for global efficiencies
- Staying on top of industry and competitor best practices and making recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a preferred major in Business/Finance, Economics or Marketing/Communications (or liberal arts with relevant industry experience)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial services, preferably focused on product marketing
- Proven marketing expertise, preferably with experience in content creation, digital marketing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as the Adobe platform
- A strong background and/or interest in financial markets and economics is crucial, with a desire to learn about PIMCO products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing alternatives products or knowledge of alternative investments a plus
- Familiarity with basic technology applications and content management systems (including Box, Smartsheet, and Google Analytics) is preferred
- MBA degree, CFA designation, or progress toward either / both is desirable
