Unique opportunity for a "hands-on" Change and Transformation professional to join our high-performing team, with a career growth opportunity.
Commodities and Global Markets Change Management team is responsible for governance and delivery of the CGM-wide change initiatives. As the Program Director on Commodities and Global Markets' Capital and Liquidity Transformation program, you will partner with our Business SMEs, Capital & Liquidity, Data and Technology teams as well as Risk Management and Financial Management teams to deliver strategic, multi-year, transformational change for our businesses.
You will be based in Sydney and lead the delivery of the key, highly visible and business-critical project, working to transform capital and liquidity processes. You will be exposed to all our products and businesses, will be able to influence diverse and senior group of stakeholders, make significant impact and grow as a professional.
Whilst the program management of Capital and Liquidity Transformation program will be your day-to-day focus, you will also be a part of the broader Projects & Change team within our Commodities and Global Markets Group, which is responsible for supporting cross-group change initiatives. As part of the team, you will be able to share your experience with more junior members of the team, coach/guide them and contribute to enhancing our change delivery practices.
You will be joining an in-flight change program, with both short-term and long-term milestones, as well as scope to expand significantly into further multi-year phases. Day to day, you will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle in a timely and efficient manner, driving accountability with delivery teams and ensuring all stakeholders are delivering in a collaborative manner. You will have a pragmatic approach to managing change, but also produce high quality project artefacts and reporting, manage risks and issues, produce and track budgets.
You will be accountable for end-to-end project management, including:
- co-ordinate regular project governance forums to address issues, review status and manage key actions
- identify and manage dependencies on other related change programs
- work with the relevant support teams to implement robust change management and communications plans
- ensure the timely identification and triage of project issues and risks
- develop and maintain high quality project artefacts and reporting
- manage project budgets and financials.
You will have:
As an Associate Director within our Projects and Change team, you will lead a team of project professionals and subject matter experts to deliver Capital and liquidity Transformation program. As such, prior experience in Treasury, Capital or Liquidity or supporting business projects delivered within these areas will be highly regarded. You will also possess:
- 10+ years' experience in Project Management, leading complex and multi-stream projects in the Financial Services sector
- relevant project management certifications including Prince2 or PMI
- experience in the delivery of the complete project life cycle (from initiation, planning through to implementation and closure) as a business-focused project manager
- extensive and proven stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills degree qualified ideally in accounting/finance/or STEM related subjects
- ability to lead resolution of issues in a complex environment
With outstanding verbal and written communication skills, you will work with a variety of internal global stakeholders to plan resource allocations necessary. Your ability to manage, influence and motivate stakeholders will be assumed. You'll need to be able to co-ordinate multiple priorities, follow established governance, be curious and intuitive in your problem solving, as well as continually drive improvement. As this is a global business, you must have the ability to work flexibly with your global project team. Agile project management experience will be an advantage.
