Job description
You will play a key role in the engagement of schools participating in the programme, and ensuring they stay engaged throughout the journey.
The aims for the programme, delivered in schools, is for participants to build practical digital skills and relevant work experience, learn more about technology as a possible career option from industry experts, and feel empowered to break down gender stereotypes and consider a career in IT and app making. During the programme teams of students design an app that solves or tackles a problem in their local school/community.
Location:Future Foundations, Devas Club, 2a Stormont Road, London SW11 5EN
Hours: Full time - Five days a week (35 hours a week)
Remuneration: £23,000 per annum pro rata
Annual Leave: Starting at 25 days annual leave, plus 8 days Bank Holidays. A day off for your birthday. Free leave for the office closure at Christmas (3 days).

EXPECTED OUTCOMES FROM THE ROLE:
To support with recruitment campaigns to schools to sign up, as well as to retain schools on the programme year on year
To effectively and to a high standard manage communication with schoolteachers leading on the programme in their school
To be the main point of contact and manage the engagement of schools throughout the programme in order to meet targets on school and student participation
To effectively and to a high standard manage communication with the Ambassadors regarding their visits to schools and other elements of the programme
To support with the delivery of high-quality online events under the direction of Programme Lead
To support with the delivery of face-to-face events under the direction of the Programme Lead, which could include working at the events
To support the management of project plans and timelines to a high standard
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
School Liaison
Leading on contact with schools, including taking welcome calls when they sign up to explain the programme
To be the main point of contact for schoolteachers throughout the programme when they have questions or need support
Communicating with schoolteachers throughout the programme to ensure they remain engaged to meet key targets for the programme
To support with the creation of email copy for various elements of the programme
To support with setting up and management of systems and processes to ensure the effective release of emails and timely calls with schools
Ensuring that schools complete the various stages of the programme, including completing feedback as this data is important for reporting key data to the client, and demonstrating the success of the programme
Supporting schools at risk of withdrawing from the programme through providing extra support as required
Ambassador Liaison
Managing communication with the Ambassadors regarding their visits to schools and other elements of the programme as required
To support with DBS checks for all UK based ambassadors, under the supervision of the Safeguarding Team
To match ambassadors with schools, and track that ambassadors are communicating with their schools
To ensure that feedback from ambassadors is received, where appropriate
Client liaison
Supporting the Programme Lead to ensure excellent levels of communication and satisfaction for the programme
Writing reports from programme data for the client as directed by the Programme Lead
Event and programme delivery support
To support with collecting appropriate 'paperwork' ahead of any elements of the programmes
To support communication with teachers, students, parent/guardians as required for each element of the programme
To support with providing schools the information needed for any events
To pack resources needed for any events or programme element; this would include printing or packing of physical resources and being responsible for bringing those. Or for creating and uploading digital resources for virtual events
To support with set up of the venue for the events, or online set up, and to then support various operations for the event as directed
Supporting the project management of the programme
To ensure delegated tasks relating to the delivery of the programme are completed effectively, to a high standard and to deadline
Supporting other members of the project team to ensure project tasks are delivered within agreed timelines
Supporting with the creation of key documentation required by clients or Programme Lead
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work flexible hours as and when required and to be agreed in advance where possible
Participate in various project work as and when required. You may be asked to support other programmes during busy periods, or to feed into strategy plans across projects
You will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check
