Project Manager - Technology & Change (Transportation)
Location: Home based / London / South East / Midlands
Salary would be between 40,000 - 55,000 per annum with 25 days holiday (increasing with service), family health insurance, DC pension and performance related bonus

A privately owned, independent Project and Cost Consultancy is seeking to attract a Project Manager to join their Infrastructure delivery team.

The business provides delivery and advisory services to various clients within the Transport, Residential, Government and Commercial sectors. Clients include the likes of Network Rail, Highways England and the Crown Commercial Service. You will have access to all the key clients, operating either as a strategic partner or direct service provider.

What will you be doing?

Preparing and maintaining project requirements
Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project
Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems
Preparing and maintaining schedules of activity, including producing the master project plan
Managing project development in line with plans and targets
Developing and implementing resource plans and procurement of resources
Leading, on occasion, cross-functional teams
Managing change control
Developing and agreeing budgets and control forecast and actual costs against them
Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client
Identifying and monitoring project risks and develop mitigations
Preparing formal project progress reports
Taking a lead in interfacing, developing and maintaining the relationship with the client and other stakeholders

What will you need?

Be Degree educated, ideally in a construction related subject
It would be beneficial if you were Chartered or Qualified with a professional institution such as the ICE or APM
Strong experience of administering the NEC form of contract in a client-side environment, ideally being accredited
Demonstrable experience of working in the infrastructure sector
