Regional Partnerships Manager - SouthSalary£24k-£35k plus bonusOverviewSchool of Code is about opening the opportunity of tech up to everyone. Our free coding bootcamp takes people from 0 to programmer and launches them into a tech career with our Employer Partners.We've come a long way since our very first bootcamp. We've trained over 200 people and are looking to transform the lives of another 192 across the country before April 2022.Our Partnerships Managers are vital in delivering our mission of helping people change their lives by starting their tech careers. As part of our Partnerships team, you will be helping to build a unique community of companies and people to drive forward School of Code as a world-changing model of education and recruitment.We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to join and help lead the South East region, starting with a base in London and across the South East. You will be a part of a dedicated and collaborative team helping to grow School of Code as we expand our free coding bootcamp across 5 regions of the UK - North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, London, and the South East.Ultimately, you will help us boost our employer partnerships, deepen relationships with our partners, and help drive us forward to bring School of Code to be available to as many people as possible.Top line aims of the team you'd join:Grow our partnership base with companies that are aligned with School of Codes missionBuild long-term successful relationships with our employer partnersSupport our employer partners in finding junior tech talent from our amazing pool of studentsSupport our students with the tech job search through our employer partners, helping is maintain and grow our 85% employment rateSupporting and embedding into the local tech ecosystem, creating a perfect environment for our students to live and breathe techResponsibilitiesBuild a regional network of employers through direct outreach, networking and referralsAttend, support, and run events which help to reach out and build employer relationshipsBe a spokesperson for the company and our mission to potential employer partnersBuild long-term successful partnerships with employersHelp us to develop and evolve our ways of working with employer partnersProvide input to the coaching team on the skills our employer partners are looking forUnderstand the numbers and skills coming from each of the bootcamps, matching people to available rolesManage invoicing of employer partner in line with quarterly targets and KPI's per bootcampReport on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results in line with the strategic plans of the businessReport directly to the head of partnershipsRequirementsDrive, determination, commitment, and the ambition to help grow School of Code into a world-changing organisation, focused on positively impacting people's livesPassion for helping people, and a drive to see barriers broken down and support people into fantastic careers they would otherwise never be able to achieveProven work experience as a Recruiter, Partnerships Manager, or similar roleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (such as cold calls)Hunger to build both yours and the companies presence and brand in the local community, as well as experience promoting across different channels (LinkedIn, etc)Entrepreneurial spirit to experimentation, problem solving, and explorationTrack record of achieving in an environment building relationshipsExperience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)Understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging pitches/presentationsWorking hours and benefitsSchool of Code hours are usually between 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We are delivering bootcamps nationally across England including South East, so applications from the South East will be ideal for this role. The School of Code's HQ is in The Custard Factory, Birmingham.
