Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

Leading two accounts payable specialists
Design, manage and communicate accounts payable KPIs ensuring that they are met to agreed levels
Seek to review and streamline accounts payable and business process (including but not exclusive of workflow, VIM and payment runs)
Ensuring that a large volume of invoices are processed in line with SLA on the ledger
Ensuring that business workflow is managed and controlled across the business
Process and manage Credit claims
Managing a large volume of supplier invoice queries.
Ensuring that invoices are filling and scanned timely and accurately.
Validation of invoices
Monthly Creditor reconciliations and reporting
Maintaining & updating vendor accounts
Manage a designated accounts payable supplier portfolio
Maintain complete, accurate and updated records of payable activity and account reconciliations
Timely research and resolution of disputed items
Responsible for preparing regular vendor payment runs to suppliers and customer terms
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and all functional teams to ensure objectives are met
Manage & maintain assigned shared mailboxes
Cross functional support for other Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable tasks
Continuous improvement focus: recommend solutions and assist with implementing.
As part of the finance team the job may include other general accounting duties as appropriate
Other ad hoc duties/tasks as assigned by the Finance Operations Manager.

The successful candidate:

will be confident with all accounts payable duties
be able to lead 2 members of staff
supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential
