Were doing our best to reach all our staff wherever they may work so were implementing some new methods of communication and have decided to bring in a Senior Content Manager to help lead the way.
You will be leading the design and implementation of the Editorial Strategy and lead the Editorial Team to create brilliant content across our existing and proposed channels. A natural story-teller, you'll have an instinct for what makes a good story that builds pride and connects our people to our purpose.

This is a Public Sector position based in Central London but can work remotely and will be required to visit offices across the country as and when required. As such comes with a great salary package and Pension Scheme.

A permanent position we want you our new Senior Content Manager to take on internal comms with our various teams. The job will include………..
Develop and deliver an Editorial Strategy that improves our employee's understanding of the connection between their roles and our purpose, as well as pride in our mission. You will have a strong understanding of how effective communications influences organisational culture, employee engagement and behavioural change.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive Editorial Calendar that encompasses campaigns, leadership communications and visibility, pride proof points and stakeholder/external engagement.

Create exceptional, outcome-focussed editorial for multiple channels - making it appropriate for different audiences, with a digital-first mindset. This includes identifying content other than written copy such as video, GIFs, infographics etc.

Partner with corporate communications colleagues to deliver aligned and consistent communications, across internal, external, stakeholders and division building relationships and insight into our organisation.

Ensure that all Internal Communications content amplifies employee voice at every opportunity, to foster a two-conversation.

Develop, and be a guardian for, an internal tone of voice that reflects our organisation and is in a human and friendly style.

Lead and coach the Editorial Team to deliver compelling copy that is of a very high standard and is clearly linked to the Internal Communications team objectives - bringing the team on the journey to move from operational 'sending stuff out' to a value-add belief-building content strategy.

Lead all internal campaigns to ensure we have a regular drumbeat that delivers campaign objectives.

Lead agencies and suppliers, where required, to deliver expert and impactful content that adds value to our organisation.

Be a key member of the Internal Communications leadership team, working closely with the Head of IC to deliver a sea-change in how Internal Communications is viewed.. Deputising for Head of IC at meetings when required.

Working closely with the Senior Channels Manager to ensure that audience insight is used at every opportunity to maximise the success of us reaching our audiences and demonstrates active listening.

Support and advise the Change Communications Manager to ensure that best practice and tone of voice are used in our change communications so that all content appears 'joined-up'.

Our ideal candidate will have……
Extensive experience of writing compelling copy and story-telling for internal audiences
Extensive experience of campaigns - from conception to evaluation - that has successfully achieved behavioural change

Experience in embedding an organisational tone of voice in all copy that is human and fosters adult-to-adult conversations.
Significant experience of creating and maintaining an Editorial Calendar that brings our purpose to life and builds pride among our people
Exceptional planning skills, with an ability to horizon-scan for the long-term and short-term
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gain buy-in to solutions that may be different to previous communication
