Job Title: Senior Philanthropy Manager

Hours: 35 per week

Type of Employment: Permanent

Salary: £41,708 - £44,163 - London based or £37,914-£40,144 if home based.

Dept and Location: Philanthropy and Entertainment, Office - London or Home based

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Philanthropy Manager to join our Philanthropy Team.

Main Purpose of the Job

Teenage Cancer Trust is looking for a major donor specialist to join and help establish a new Philanthropy Team as Philanthropy Manager and to own and drive relationships with major philanthropists and some of the charity's highest value individual supporters.

You will be supporting on the planned growth in income from philanthropist, providing excellent relationship management of existing supporters and supporting ways to engage and involve new supporters. We need our Senior Philanthropy Manager to initiate, build and manage relationships with a portfolio of existing and prospective HNWI's and Philanthropists who are able to give five, six and seven figure gifts and deliver more than £250k a year in income for Teenage Cancer Trust.

As a motivated and experienced Philanthropy specialist, this is a great opportunity to help shape a new fundraising programme with real potential. You will be able to negotiate and personally solicit donations, be used to working with relationship databases, running stewardship programmes for high-net-worth individuals, and be conversant with GDPR. Your superb relationship-building skills and excellent communication abilities will help you identify and secure the support of major individual philanthropists for Teenage Cancer Trust's work. You will also identify opportunities and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally to maximise these opportunities.
