Senior Production Supervisor
North London
Up to £45,000

Introduction
Our client a leading nationwide integrated waste management business providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically driven energy generation services across the UK. Our client is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor to join one of its key recycling venues in North London.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Senior Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Supporting the site management team in the day-to-day operations of the facility and deputising as Operations Manager when required
Liaise with management team on the plant's operational performance, always looking for improvement and the opportunity for continuous improvement
Maintaining and adhering the H&S standards and operational procedures
Monitor staff training and compliance, managing external customers, reporting and recording deficiencies within the plant.
Formulate Risk Assessments and undertake Toolbox talks

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH and ISO accreditations
Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector would be ideal (MRF's, AD, MBT plants)
WAMITAB would be desirable
Experience of working within a heavy production industry would also be considered.
Previous supervisory experience within large teams predominantly in Production or Manufacturing.
An understanding of engineering or mechanical principles is desirable.

This role is 4 on 4 off - 12 hour day shifts. Please only apply if this is suitable

A competitive salary of around £40,000 - £45,000
