Mid sized, independent creative agency with a specialism in FMCG brands is looking for a Social Media Director. Or a Senior Social Media Manager stepping up....

The role will be to oversee a small social team across social channels for two big players in the FMCG world. Ranging from community management, x-agency management, content creation, social media strategy and crisis management.

The brands are iconic and well loved, fast paced accounts with lots going on across both paid and organic content. The clients love innovation and trust the agency judgement to ensure best practice across all accounts.

They make some of the brand's most successful reactive content, jumping on trends we need someone who understands the landscape of truly reactive social. We have fun with the brands characters and have even generated national press with tongue in cheek social posts that have got Twitter liking and resharing.

The Role:

Looking for someone with an in depth knowledge of all social media platforms who can lead accounts with confidence. This individual should have a passion for all things social media and be able to make recommendations and offer insights into trends, new platforms and their brands social media activity. Adept at monitoring trends and building audience insights, you should be experienced in leading organic content creation and planning and evaluating content that aligns with brand strategy.

You will thrive on creativity and enjoy having the freedom to proactively identify and create content themselves and with their team that can drive social engagement.

You will be managing a team of two or three Social Media Managers, providing support and guidance on a day-to-day basis. You will also work with Account leads across each of the accounts and Strategists to provide expert advice on our approach to each account to build out robust and innovative content plans.

Candidates should have experience with general community management, experience leading crisis management and FAQ planning.
