Location: UK Flexible
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: circa £38,000 pro rata plus Inner London Weighting where applicable
Contract type: Fixed term contract (until 29th July 2022)

We are recruiting a Strategic Communications Planning Partner who will join an expert hub that sits at the heart of our Communications and Advocacy Directorate.
The Strategic Communications team works closely with senior leaders across the organisation to develop an integrated, audience-led, and cause-aligned communications approach.
What will you be doing
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, the Strategic Communications Planning Partner is responsible for the communications strategies, plans and tools that support our new strategy.
You will ensure all our communications are audience focused and insight driven, including leading on the development of communication approaches for new opportunities and driving forward high-profile, cross-organisational projects that help transform our communications capability.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Supporting the leadership of our communications and advocacy teams to develop and implement a communication strategy
Identifying strategic gaps in the insight which informs our communications strategy and helping to address them
Evaluating the effectiveness of our communications and helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement
Partnering with directorates across the organisation to provide strategic communications advice
About the team
The role of Strategic Communications Planning Partner sits within the Communications and Advocacy Directorate which tells the stories about who we are, what we do, what we believe, and the difference we make to people's lives - so that both externally and internally people act, behave, or make decisions in a way that results in a positive change for people in crisis.
