Salary: £24,113 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 36 hours per week (three-week rota including one weekend in three)

Our Mental Health service is currently looking for a Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Dagenham.
You'll actively and regularly engage with clinical teams and community organisations within the local area.
Providing welfare benefits advice, emotional support, budgeting and money management skills as well as supporting customers to develop skills to successfully live independently.
Who are we looking for?
You'll have knowledge of issues affecting those individuals with a range of enduring and severe mental health conditions, how to communicate effectively with these individuals and how to support them with dignity and respect. You'll have knowledge of housing management requirements and health and safety compliance. You'll be responsible for ensuring customers receive a high quality support service, working with them to achieve their identified support targets.
You'll possess excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with service users from diverse backgrounds and liaise with a wide range of professional services and agencies in the community.
A full training package will be provided to new members of our team to help them develop the skills to become a great support officer.
