Job description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of strategic transformation projects working closely with business and technology stakeholders
  • Provide professional and dedicated project and change management skills to the business lines facilitating successful delivery of regulatory, product and client driven initiatives.
  • Work with the business lines to identify solutions for the enhancement, development and implementation of scalable and robust operating models and solutions, ensuring alignment to strategic business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain individual project plans to ensure the successful implementation of tactical and strategic initiatives, including the identification of milestones, deadlines, critical path items and resource requirements. Work with the business to develop the business case for new projects, including cost benefit analysis.
  • Produce the required project documentation - e.g., project plan, solution design and requirements, risks and issues logs, status reports, closures reports, lessons learned and post implementation reviews.
  • Work closely with technology team to ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications and systematic solutions where required. Work with business and operational partners to ensure readiness around acceptance of new requirements and technology.
  • Track the status of Transformation Office actions through the life cycle of each project.

Background & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will likely come from an Asset Management or consultancy background and be experienced in project management or process re-engineering with experience implementing complex, multi-faceted projects and initiatives.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex projects in the Financial Services industry; project experience in Asset or Investment Management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies (Agile, Six Sigma and Prince2) and tools (Asana).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Experience managing up and partnering with senior leaders.
  • A team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, global working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and consensus with peers and senior leaders.
  • An intellectually curious self-starter who is energised by contributing to the success of the business.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong track record of academic achievement.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
