Job description

Tradewind is recruiting for qualified Primary Teachers that would like to Tutor in a Primary School based in Greenwich! This role would be perfect for a candidate that has childcare commitments and cant work full time hours but still wants to work 3-5 days a week.

Pay Rate = £18-23 per hour

**About the role**

This post for a Primary Tutor is to support struggling children outside of the classroom on a 1:1 basis. You would support different children throughout the day and then report and feedback into the class teacher to inform future planning about the children that you tutor. You will also be paid for 30mins each day you work for Planning and Preparation time. As this is Tutor work you will be able to start later in the day around 9:30am and finish school early around 2pm. You would be paid per hour worked between 4 hours to 4.5 hours per day. There are roles available to work either Wed-Friday 3 days a week or available for 5 days per week.

This position is based as part of a chain of Academy Primary Schools. They have 3 different Primary Schools across Greenwich and positions are available at all the sites. This is an Outstanding place to work, OFSTED have commented on the high level of education provided. Feedback from parents is always fantastic, the wider community also benefit from the school. The schools have had some additional funding through the Government as part of the catch up scheme and they want to spend this money on finding qualified Primary Teachers to work as Tutors with these struggling children that through lockdowns and COVID have had a disrupted school life.
