The role:

As a VAT senior, you will be responsible for providing VAT support on advisory and compliance matters to corporate and owner managed businesses. You will also be responsible for supporting directors and partners with projects as required.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with client portfolios and the preparation of VAT reports and providing VAT advice.
• Prepare, review, and supervise VAT returns and compliance matters to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare VAT articles and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• Deal with correspondence from HMRC.
• Draft billing analysis and fee notes.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA).
• To be technically strong on all VAT matters and an expert in this field with significant experience in practice or industry.
• Experienced in managing people and liaising with clients and other staff members.
• Strong IT skills.
