Job description

Are you passionate about the important role volunteers play in supporting our local community?
Do you have experience empowering people to make a real difference for a cause they believe in?
Are you looking for a new challenge, in which you can lead or support a team of people to achieve amazing results?

At Imperial Health Charity, we believe in the power and potential of volunteers - and we're looking for passionate people who feel the same way.

As the dedicated charity for one of the country's largest NHS trusts, we manage a growing community of volunteers across five hospitals in north west London. Over the last five years we have developed a dynamic volunteering programme to help our hospitals while creating a rewarding experience for every volunteer who generously devotes their time to support our cause.

Right now we're embarking on an exciting new journey as we adapt to changes in the way healthcare is provided across the country. At this crucial moment, we're looking for talented and focused people to join our volunteering team. We want to find passionate individuals who can make a real impact in the following roles:

Volunteering Manager for Charing Cross Hospital

Volunteering Manager for Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea hospitals

Volunteering Manager for St Mary's and the Western Eye hospitals

Volunteering Officer for Charing Cross Hospital

Volunteering Experience Manager

We're looking for people who have the passion and commitment to work in an exciting and fast-paced healthcare environment, with the skills to juggle lots of complex tasks and the personal qualities to be great 'people' people - the ability to build relationships, influence others to embrace change and cope with the day-to-day challenges of working within the NHS.

It's important to us that our people have the right skills and experience, combined with a strong work ethic and personal drive, to ensure we succeed as a team. However, we're also committed to learning and development - so if you're passionate about one of our roles and you don't have all the knowledge and experience, we would still love to hear from you. Depending on the nature of the job, we will provide learning and knowledge-building experiences within your first six months to enable you to develop your skills in the role.
