This very high achieving, two-form entry Jewish faith boy's primary school is seeking a teacher to join the team as soon as possible. The role will be until at least the end of the 2021/22 academic year.

The Headteacher is seeking an experienced teacher, as they do not have the capacity to assist a newly qualified teacher at this stage of the year. They are keen to find a teacher who has taken pupils through Y6 SATS and who is able to identify areas for development in children in this year group.

Behaviour in the class is good and they respond well to a teacher who will keep them engaged and who has high expectations of behaviour. The class is settled and motivated to do well in Year 6.

This role is 50% non-contact time - from 8.30am - midday, the children are taken for Jewish studies, so this is essentially non-contact time where you can plan and prepare with the parallel year group teacher. You will then take them for the afternoon. Please note that the school day for children finishes at 4.15pm. Also, the school closes at early on Fridays in the Autumn/Winter but you will still be paid for the whole day.

Salary will be in line with MPS, currently £29915- £41136 per annum, outer London, depending on experience.

Requirements to be considered for this Year 6 teacher role:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching in a primary classroom in a mainstream setting and have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
