Job description

Fantastic opportunity to join a poverty relief charity that is at the heart of the community (NW London) as Development Manager.

The TPP Fundraising and Development team is delighted to be supporting this fantastic local poverty relief charity with the recruitment to a Development Manager vacancy .The charity offers a wide range of services - food aid, welfare advice and training to people in crisis and offers a lifeline to families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless or socially isolated.

Reporting to the CEO and managing a small team of staff, you will be joining the organisation at an exciting time of growth, and continue work to refine and further develop the organisation's fundraising strategy which presently focuses on funding from trusts/foundations/statutory sources, community fundraising, and support from local corporates, but where there is potential for growth across all streams. You will also manage the Communications Officer, responsible for marketing the charity's services and the digital communications strategy.

In order to be considered for this role, you will bring excellent written and oral communication skills, a strong track record of fundraising from one (or more) of the charity's key income streams (listed above) and ideally experience of project management. The role is based in the London Borough of Brent, and the charity has a hybrid working arrangement with 1 or 2 days in the office each week, and the remainder of time working from home. This is a full time role, but applications from candidates looking for more flexible working arrangements can be considered.
