Secondary School Learning Support Assistant - Psychology & Mental Health Graduates

Our client school: a Large Secondary School in Camden, are searching for three passionate Learning Support Assistants to work with them for the full academic year (ASAP - July 2022).

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with mainstream children in and out of the classroom, some of which will have a variety of needs, mainly Autism and/or Dyslexia.

You will gain invaluable experience, working alongside the class teacher, Special Needs Coordinator and external agencies such as Counsellors, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and other SEN Specialists.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, ASAP start - July 2022
  • £75 - £90 per day, Term-time only
  • Private Medical Healthcare worth £650
  • Working with a range of needs on a 1:1 basis, group basis and whole class
  • Opportunity for paid in-house Teacher Training (Schools Direct)
  • Bespoke induction and training programme available
  • Team Teach Training included

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Experience with children / young people in any setting
  • Knowledge and experience with SEN essential
  • Passionate, Creative and Enthusiastic
  • Able to commit to the entire academic year
  • University graduate - psychology or mental health related is ideal
