Role Description
Okay basically what is this gig?
It's about supporting Resonance's clients to execute their inbound marketing strategies and campaigns. You'd work alongside the Head of Inbound and the Inbound Manager.
Resonance is an inbound marketing and HubSpot Partner Agency, and the ideal candidate would have direct experience with HubSpot and be adept at handling all channels for inbound content, from social to email to web.
However, to succeed in this role you don't need to have direct experience with HubSpot - most important is for you to have the ability to think on your feet and persevere to solve problems. If this sounds like something you'd be good at, Resonance would love to hear from you!
Tell me a bit about the company
Sure - Resonance is a boutique PR (Public Relations) company based in London. They specialise in helping innovative (usually tech) companies to build and maintain strong reputations.
Sounds interesting...tell me more…
Resonance is fortunate to work with some incredible brands in the B2B technology space. They are a proactive, creative team, balancing thinking with doing and they've had an outstanding year so far. It's a great time to join them as they look to grow their inbound team.
What would my responsibilities be?
This is a varied and exciting role, so there are a fair amount of things that you will be required to do - here they all are:
Inbound operations:
Help manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to Resonance's clients' owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
Help grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and writing lead generation content and blogs.
Help optimise Resonance's clients' marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Help collate and report on closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how the inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
Content marketing:
Blog: Growing blog subscribers, converting visitors into leads, and expanding blog reach. Work with the content team to write various types of blog articles on client topics. Review analytics to improve blog strategies and tactics
Seek ways to optimise content for search engines and lead generation.
Work with Resonance's clients' strategies to execute on high value asset creation that drives leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, etc.).
Grow Resonance's subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that's aligned with their needs and interests.
Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and Resonance's audience.
Work with SEO teams to ensure inbound marketing strategies and tactics focus on on-page SEO and off-page SEO for clients. Include high-quality content around important, relevant terms as part of ongoing content execution.
Have an understanding on how to improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
Proactivity & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to content marketing, social media marketing, attribution, and email marketing.
Stay up-to-date with news, updates and new features of HubSpot and think of ways these can be leveraged for clients.
Social media:
Social media content: Help build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about Resonance's clients' company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
Where relevant, help execute social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).
Work alongside other members of the Resonance team and internal client teams to help distribute content that educates and entertains the audience and supports marketing goals.
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from the company's social network presence.
Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach Resonance's target buyers.
Track, measure, and analyse all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
Email marketing:
Grow Resonance's clients' databases organically, not through bought or rented lists.
Manage the execution of the company's client's email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in their email sends.
Segment lists based on behaviours like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
Measure results and optimise lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.
Work to minimise list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of email sends.
Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
Paid marketing:
Help the inbound marketing manager execute on the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns.
Measure and optimize paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
Help in the execution of landing pages and lead generation forms for Resonance's content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
