My client is one of the largest privately owned construction companies in the UK.

They are currently searching for a professional Site Agent to join their specialist Structures Division.

Working on major, high value projects which are based in central London alongside a vault strategy insuring the highway network safety. This is a full-time position with an excellent package and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of notable projects.

Reporting office will be in London SE1 area.

The Site Agent Role

As a Site Agent you will be reporting to the Project Manager/Contracts Manager, supervising all or sections of major construction schemes.

Schemes would be similar to:

-George Street Vault arch infill, strengthening and temporary works
-Victoria street Vault Infills
-Berwick Place Vault arch re construction
-Poland street Vault reconstruction Masonry to reinforced concrete

Responsibilities of a Site Agent

-Ensuring site mobilisation and project delivery
-Managing site plant, labour and materials (Carbon friendly)
-Responsible for permitting, licences and permissions
-Liaising with stakeholders to ensure engagement
-Liaising with subcontractors as required
-Ensuring documented Safe Systems of Work are in place and adhered to
-Monitoring site resources and costs to ensure maximum efficiency
-Managing quality of work and compliance to quality plan
-Completing and maintaining site records
-Responsibility for health and safety on site and promoting a positive safety culture
-Utilising internal procurement IT systems

Qualifications and person specification

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a site engineer, working in confined space or underground structures, existing highway infrastructure as well as experience working with local authorities. A CSCS - Black Card is essential, and you will be self-motivated, organised, and able to work under pressure.
