An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Arts Practice department for a permanent teacher. The Community Arts Practice department is at the forefront of our pioneering approach to education. Students study an innovative curriculum combining an academic education with vocational training in creative and performing arts.

Their achievements testify to our success, as do our alumni, many of whom have achieved great success across all areas of the industry.

This course opens the door to a wide range of opportunities post BRIT, whether students are looking for a career in the arts, social or health care, media or event management, The Community Arts Practice course equips students with the professional skills to be able to thrive in any environment.

Across the two year course we work with a range of community partners, from local grassroots organisations to those that work on a national\/international scale.

These projects are designed for students to create work for, with and in response to the community. As a result, students will develop a variety of skills including;
facilitation and teaching, workshop design, event management, devising and performance.

Our ambitious students are versatile and passionate, they are keen to innovate and push the boundaries.

The Brit School runs a 5 Term academic year with some school holidays falling at different times to the usual Local Authority school breaks.
