Assembly Operative

Greenwich, SE10

Ongoing Contract

Monday - Thursday (42 hours p/w) or Friday - Sunday (33 hours p/w)

(Days & Night shifts)

£10.20 - £11.22 or an increased rate for Weekend shifts

Looking for candidates to train for a Assembly Operative position, at a leading manufacturing company. These roles offer an opportunity to join a world-renowned company, who are specialists in their field.

Full training will be provided for this role, and the ideal candidate will have transferrable skills from a practical background, for example construction or manufacturing based experience.

As a Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for:

Undertaking assembly processes,
Following Engineering drawings to assemble the mechanical racking systems, sub assembly and wiring of all connections,
Building, assembling and installation of modules that make up the suites,
Rack wiring completed for all the panels connecting to each other as per drawing,
Assembling different power supply units and installation of cubicles,
PCB building,
Electrical/ Prototype wiring,
Complete wiring on control panels using crimp tools,
Component & D-type connector soldering.

HOURS OF WORK

The successful Assembly Operative will be required to work shifts of both Days & Nights, on a 2-week rotation.

Please note that the initial 3-week training period will be on a Monday - Thursday basis.

Days (x2 weeks)

Monday - Thursday 6am - 5.15pm

Nights (x2 weeks)

Monday - Thursday 6pm - 5.15am

Or

Days (x2 weeks)

Friday - Sunday 6am - 5.45pm

Nights (x2 weeks)

Friday - Sunday 6pm - 5.45am

Full training will be provided for this role, candidates who are interested will be invited to an assessment day to go through a Maths and English assessment and an instruction-based manufacturing test. We will go through the role in further detail and discuss the company.
