Warehouse Operative, HMP Wormwood Scrubs, Temporary Contract, \u00A311.30 per hour

Hays are working with GFSL who are looking for a Stores\/Warehouse Operative for HMP Wormwood Scrubs. HMP Wormwood Scrubs is a category B male prison based in West London.

Your new role
We are currently looking for 1 Warehouse operative, full time position on an ongoing temporary contract.

Working as part of the stores team you will be reporting directly into the site manager and will be asked to do a range of duties such as accepting deliveries, assist the movement of heavy and bulky items always making sure the job is done correctly but most importantly safely. You may be asked to work in the kit exchange area of the prison which involves the movement of dirty laundry to and from the prison however the stores at this prison are outside the perimeter fence which means very little contact with any prisoners.

This will be a full time Monday-Friday role offering a rate of up to \u00A311.30 per hour.

Please note successful candidates will be working within purpose built warehouse that is based on Prison grounds and will be sometimes working alongside vetted prisoners.

Please note successful candidates will have to pass Level 1 security checks.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally we are looking for someone with similar Warehouse \/ Stock control experience, within an operation team. All candidates must have strong communication, motive\/ encourage prisoners and staff and work under pressure. This will require organisation and excellent time management. All candidates are subject to an interview, satisfactory referencing and will need to carry out full prison clearance.
