Job description

This is a fixed term role for up to six months with the possibility of extension. About the role:To assist the Head of School for Construction, Engineering and Science in ensuring the effective operational delivery of our apprenticeship, full cost and science provision, and support development of future provision working alongside the Strategic Advisor for Rail and Engineering. About you:The successful candidate will need to Monitor, review and evaluate all aspects of the students' experience within the curriculum areas and draw up strategies for improvement in line with cross-College quality standards. Key focus on full and effective use of the Smart Assessor tool for apprentices and Promonitor for full cost and full/part time learners. Take responsibility for the line management and support of staff carrying out on site assessment and teaching within the designated area, as well as the Curriculum Manager for Science, to ensure that effective strategies are being employed to ensure high quality teaching and learning across all subjects and improved achievement including timely achievement.
