NHS 111 Call Handler Role Available. Full-Time, Permanent. Up to \u00A328,000. 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays.

Hays Healthcare are currently working alongside an NHS 111 provider to recruit Health Advisors (call handlers) to work within their 111 Clinical Hub in Central London. This is a full-time, permanent position. Up to \u00A328,000 per annum, pro rata. 25 days annual leave, plus 8 days bank holidays.

The perfect candidate MUST have a strong call centre\/customer service background and be able to commit to out of hours work including weekends\/evenings\/nights as work is done on a rota basis. You must be able to adapt to a fast paced working environment, be an excellent communicator, enjoy working as part of a team and be confident in your decision making abilities. Full training is provided for this role initially, so you must be available full-time, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

As an NHS 111 Health Advisor (Call Handler), you will take a variety of incoming calls from the general public, providing them with an appropriate response to urgent healthcare needs within a time-frame. Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if it is required.
