Job description

Sureserve Fire and Electrical, part of the Sureserve Group, are a specialist in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire safety and security systems. Delivering fire compliance services, which cover all the physical infrastructure and fire safety materials required for a building to respond to the outbreak of fire.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Maintenance Engineer to join our busy growing team on a permanent basis. This role will be covering the South of England, predominantly in the Wimbledon area.

The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European standards.

Servicing of maintenance contracts in accordance with company operating procedures, reporting directly to the Contract Manager.

*General Duties/ Key Responsibilities: *

· Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts

· To respond to emergency call-outs and carry out any remedial works as required

· Carry out asset verification

· Install replacement/ additional equipment

· Take part in the on-call rota

· Conduct site surveys as required

· Training of apprentices

· To act at all times in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the client
