Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapists/Occupational Therapists to work in Lewishamon a full-time basis, within the Discharge to Assess Team.

The pay rates for these locum Senior Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist jobs are £38 - £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and are initial 4-month contracts.

Duties:

Reviewing discharges
Undertaking D2A assessment with recommendations for future care
Reviewing equipment supplied/recommended from Acute Hospitals
Work with Social Workers and Nurses with the in house Enablement Care Team plus local care agencies

Requirements of the Senior Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapists:

Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
Adult Social Care experience -knowledge/experience of strengths based approaches and assessment skills
Moving and Handling experience and knowledge - including working with hoists/slings/patient turners - experience of reducing double handed care packages
Equipment and minor adaptations experience
Understanding of Principals of Enablement
Experience of working in a rehabilitative manner
Experience of issuing and reviewing assistive technology
Ideally experience of utilising Liquid Logic or Rio
