We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Commissioning Editor to join our Pharmaceutical Press Team. You will be responsible for product development and the sourcing and creation of new externally authored content - they will research and commission new products, project-manage their development and ensure timely and accurate publication or launch. You will maintain regular communication with internal and external content creation stake holders ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of content.

Commissioning Editor Requirements:

  • Demonstrable editorial experience in academic scientific publishing
  • A relevant degree in a scientific field and good knowledge of the clinical uses of drugs and medicines
  • Experience in commissioning and list management
  • Excellent project management skills, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good copyediting skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good research and information gathering skills with ability to assimilate and disseminate complex information
