Job description
Role Objectives
The position will report into the Content Manager, with a dotted line into the Design Manager. The team is responsible for supporting the UK & Ireland business, which comprises over 3,000 employees in around 90 offices.
This role is primarily focused on project and stakeholder management, as well as technical design production to support the marketing department.
We're investing significantly in improving our digital capabilities, including technology, skills and partnerships, and this is an exciting opportunity to be right at the centre of it. You'll help deliver a new multi-media and digitised content programme, focusing on interactive content reports, LIVE\/video, podcasts and animation. We'll look to you to manage the digital production of content, ensuring it is fit for purpose, meets best practice standards and is engaging for the user.
Key Result Areas
Design production
* Interrogate briefs to ensure the information, outputs and timings are fit for an effective and efficient creative process
* Plan, assign and schedule briefs to a team of designers
* Maintain an asset portal
* Identify any resource gaps and maintain relationships and costs with freelancers\/agencies
* Support content and campaign delivery with the content campaign lead
* Traffic and workflow management, including traffic projects through the different stages of the creative process - from briefing to planning, concept, design, production and delivery -
* Oversee sign off and approval process for all creatives
Creative development
* Ensure designers are supporting a digital 1st approach
* Ensure design assets are delivered on time and to the highest standard, adhering to brand guidelines and driving customer activity
* Ensure design production is:
* In line with the Hays brand guidelines
* Tailored to the customer
* In a format that will drive maximum engagement
* Look for new and creative ways to support our drive to improve campaign performance
Project management\/stakeholder engagement
* Work with other members of the wider UK\/Group Marketing teams including PR, digital, creative studio and events to ensure seamless delivery and optimum impact of all activity
* Keep stakeholders updated with progress and ensure all channels are informed, particularly when there are dependencies
* Ensure stakeholders are engaged with projects and work that is produced
* Employ project management skills to ensure marketing materials meet stakeholder objectives and are delivered on time, on brief, on budget and on brand
* Develop and deliver regular reports on project status and completed design activity and outputs
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
* Strong understanding of design best practice and working in a corporate environment
* Excellent understanding of digital design creation across multiple marketing channels
* Experience working with multiple creative formats including video and animation
* Able to work to strict deadlines, with good attention to detail
* Not afraid to push boundaries creatively and suggest new ideas
* Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders updated about project status
* Ideally, some understanding of design software to be able to make simple amends to support the team and facilitate efficient processes
* Proven experience of resource planning in a creative agency, or in-house marketing team
* Experience of project management with the ability to matrix manage stakeholders through collaboration
* Disciplined approach to project management, including experience working with project management tools, such as Monday.com
* Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment
* Self-motivated and able to operate in a sales-led culture
